105年度科技部計劃案 「未來性智慧化室內照明設計之思考典範建構研究」

自古以來,人類便發揮智慧解決室內照明的問題,不論是在洞窟裡或飛機上。每個階段也都是
前一階段的「未來性智慧化」結果,因為科技始終在進步。自從LED 燈具的能源效率已超越絕大部
份傳統光源,新的創新轉向將之結合在無線訊號溝通的智慧化技術應用上。照明產品及設計理論再
一次面臨新的轉型,改變了很多行之多年的照明設計形式。唯獨,多半仍然停留在推廣、宣傳的階
段,尚未被廣泛應用。本計畫擬以六個階段,評估並提出未來可善加應用的模式。首先,本計畫將
透過文獻整理,提出其理論相關構面及參數之架構。其次,進行300 為設計界人士抽樣之問卷調查,
檢視其面對這類照明系統之意見,以及需求之多樣化、複雜度。同時,也將藉參觀各類型照明展示,
及產品相關資訊,蒐集及建立各種新式系統之優勢及特點之比較,以於下一階段之專家會議中,與
學者、業界人士進行討論,歸納應用原則及考量重點。藉此,進一步應用於本校圖書館三樓,約500
坪面積之多種照明需求設計上,以綜合提出可整合成多種未來應用之智慧化設計模式。

Construction of A Futuristic Intelligent Lighting Design Paradigm
Human beings have dealt with interior light intelligently ever since it first appeared on earth, whether
they are inside a cave or on an airplane. It so happens that every stage of lighting application is deemed
futuristic to that of previous stages for technology is always on the go. However, ever since LED lamps’
energy efficiency surpassed that of traditional light sources of all kinds in 2010, the focus of lighting design
innovation has turned toward the radio-frequency Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks (WASN)
technology. This trend of futuristic luminaires as well as wireless control systems offers a new perspective
for interior lighting design. To confront with such a shift, this study intends to construct the paradigm
pragmatically through a 6-stage process. First, it shall draft out a theoretical framework derived from related
studies embedded with foundational parameters and dimensions pertinent to such a lighting system. Second,
it shall consult with 300 randomly sampled design professionals of architecture and interior design
background regarding the new trend by means of survey investigation. Meanwhile, the research needs to get
a better knowledge of these newly promoted products and their comparative advantages by attending
lighting fairs and show-room demonstrations, together with product brochures information. In the next stage,
the study shall hold a conference by inviting researchers and experts from academic and industrial
communities to further demarcate the definitions, theories and parameters pertinent to the new paradigm.
The resultant recommendations shall be employed on the design study of library lighting on CYCU campus.
The 1500 square-meter floor area located on the third floor of the library is an interior space in need of
diverse lighting demands. By doing do, this study would be able to holistically include parameters and
dimensions essential to the construction of a futuristic intelligent lighting design paradigm for the design
profession.
